CVA Mechanical Back-up Alarm
The Trilite CVA Mechanical Back-up Alarm is a cost-effective solution for enhancing vehicle safety. Constructed with zinc-plated 10-gauge steel, resilience is ensured with ample resistance to various environmental conditions. The alarm features an 8-inch diameter bell that is mounted directly on the vehicle wheel. This design ensures durability and provides a loud and clear sound signal at 96 decibels @ 1 ft. The CVA Back-up Alarm operates mechanically and does not require any external power source, wires, or switches. It activates automatically based on the vehicle's movement. Depending on the mounting side, the alarm will sound either with reverse movement when mounted on the right side or with forward movement when mounted on the left side. This configuration allows flexibility based on the desired application. The alarm is equipped with four gravity-actuated hammers that strike the bell every 1/4 turn of the wheel as the vehicle moves. This provides a consistent and attention-grabbing sound signal.
In case of unusual bolt patterns, the Universal Mounting Plate Adapter (Part #: CVAUMP) is available as an option. It ensures compatibility and facilitates easy installation.
