BKA Mechanical Back-up Alarm
The Trilite BKA Mechanical Back-up Alarm is a durable and reliable solution for public safety and industrial applications. The back-up alarm operates completely mechanically and does not require any external power source, wires, or switches. It relies on the vehicle's movement to activate the alarm. The bell of the alarm can be set to ring in either the forward or reverse direction, allowing flexibility based on the specific needs of the application. The alarm features two gravity-actuated hammers that strike the bell every 1/2 turn of the wheel as the vehicle moves. This ensures a consistent and audible alert signal. With a decibel level of 86db @ 1 ft. the BKA Mechanical Back-up Alarm is highly audible.
The BKA Back-up Alarm mounts directly on the wheel, eliminating the need for additional mounting brackets or complicated installation procedures. The alarm is constructed with zinc-plated 10-gauge steel, providing robustness and resistance to environmental conditions. The BKA Mechanical Back-up Alarm has a compact size with a 6-inch diameter bell. It is lightweight, weighing approximately 4 lbs, which allows for easy installation and transportation.
